Below is a template letter that can be sent to a business you have bought goods from online and want to refund and return them. All information inside the square brackets can be replaced to suit your circumstances and information.

Dear [name],
On [date] I bought [item] from your website at a cost of £[price]. I paid using [add payment method].
The [item] was delivered on [date] but I no longer want it.
The law states I have 14 days to change my mind. I am therefore returning the [item] to you and cancelling my order.
Please arrange to refund my money including the cost of delivery as soon as possible, or at the latest 14 days from the date you receive the goods back.
